Welcome to the practice of Dr. Amanda Fortin, a plastic surgeon who takes a feminine approach to her craft. Based in Sudbury, Ontario, Dr. Fortin has built a reputation for her strong interest in reconstructive and cosmetic plastic surgery. She is deeply connected to her patients' concerns about body image and function, and she strives to truly listen to what those concerns are.
Dr. Fortin received her medical training in Calgary, Alberta, and became certified in Plastic Surgery at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg. She then went on to specialty training in Texas and Melbourne, Australia. She began her surgical career and instructed plastic surgery trainees at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, but decided to return to her roots in the north when she started her family. She has been working out of Health Sciences North since moving to Sudbury, and in 2018, she moved her main practice location to 1493 Paris St.
