Sandra Harrington, one of the reviewers, mentioned that Crossman Excavating has extremely poor customer service and relations. They were accused of ripping off customers for work they claimed to have performed but could not prove. Specifically, Harrington mentioned that the company invoiced thousands of dollars for snow removal charges for days with no precipitation and astronomical charges that were not verifiable. They also charged for bins of salt left on business property and used the salt paid for to salt walkways, then charged again on top. There was no credit for the remaining amount when the bins were removed at the end of the season, which Harrington considered as a pure rip-off. Furthermore, they were accused of charging for services that were not necessary, which is considered fraudulent.
Reliability and Follow-Up Issues
Ian Dixon, another reviewer, expressed disappointment with the company's reliability and follow-up. Dixon used the website's contact process to ask for a quote and received a call days later apologizing for the delay and booking an appointment. However, the company failed to show up for the appointment and did not contact Dixon.
