At CM Precision, we're proud to be a family-owned business located in Hanover, Ontario, with customers across Canada. We take pride in providing machining and welding services to produce well-made, well-priced quality products - on time and on budget. Our mission is to be your one-stop shop for precision craftsmanship and tailored solutions.
Our History
Owner and operator Chad Mauer first opened CM Precision in 2006 in his garage with a single lathe and a small mig welder. Since 2006, CM Precision has experienced remarkable growth. Over the years, we've added equipment and services to meet the needs and requirements of our growing customer base. In 2015, we moved to our current location at 7 Bruce Road 22 (just west of Grey Road 10). Our 3,000 sq. ft. shop has allowed us to expand our services once again to better serve you. And an additional 2,700 sq. ft. gives us room to grow.
Our Services
We offer a wide range of services, including custom machining, welding, fabrication, and laser cutting. From prototype to full production runs, we have the skills, resources, and experience to manufacture the parts you need. Our shop services include everything from a single lock washer to a custom-build, and we take pride in getting the job done to your exact specifications - and satisfaction. We also offer custom work, where we can bring your ideas to life, whether it's a laser-cut fire pit, centre caps for a vintage Mazda, or lifting rigs and access ladders.

Our Team
Our team is led by Chad Mauer, who graduated from Conestoga College in 2001 with a General Machinist and CNC Certificate. Chad has a passion for technology and all things mechanical, and he balances "old school" techniques with new technology to do what's best for his customers and for the job. Our team is dedicated to providing top-notch work, each and every time.
