Hungry Heart Cafe & Catering is an award-winning social enterprise in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador. We've been serving delicious food and empowering individuals for over 17 years. We believe in the transformative power of culinary training and the importance of community involvement.
1. Culinary Training & Employment Support
- We offer a comprehensive culinary training program in partnership with Stella's Circle Employment Services.
- We provide job training and experience to individuals facing various barriers to employment, including mental health challenges, addictions, poverty, and homelessness.
- We offer mentorship, life skills training, and full-circle support to help our graduates achieve lasting success.
2. Catering Services
We cater a variety of events, including:
- Corporate functions
- Weddings and anniversaries
- Private parties
- Fundraising events
- Community gatherings
3. Meals Squared Program
- We believe in tackling hunger by providing nutritious meals to those in need.
- Guests can contribute to this program by adding a small donation to their catering order.
- $4.00 provides one delicious and nourishing meal to a hungry individual.
