Our Story

When Claire's School of Dancing's doors opened in 1973, Claire's vision was to teach children not only how to dance but how to love to dance. She went well beyond that, creating a family atmosphere in her studio that is special and difficult to accomplish in the competitive business of dance education. In September of 2005, the school was graciously passed on to Claire's daughter, Tracy McLaughlin-Larocque, who vows to preserve the legacy created by her mother.
