Our Mission
Our goal is to encourage families and the community to work together for the benefit of young children. We believe that by providing consultation, training, support, and information to our Educators, we can create a safe and nurturing environment that fosters the social, physical, intellectual, creative, and emotional development of children.
Our Services
We offer a range of services to support families and Early Learning and Child Care Professionals in our community. Our Licensed Early Learning and Child Care Service provides home visits, telephone contact, provision of resources, and individual training plans to our Educators. We also contract with Day Home Educators who are truly interested in providing high-quality care for children. Our Society is committed to selecting Educators who meet the Government requirements set down by the Alberta Ministry of Children Services.
Our Team
Our team consists of experienced professionals who are passionate about providing exceptional care and education to children. Our Coordinator, Reshann Butts, has over 20 years of experience in the early childhood field and has worked in various roles, including as a director, room supervisor, and directly working with children of all ages. Our administrative assistant and consultant, Ella, has been in the child care field since 2000 and has worked with us since 2007. Our Advisory Board consists of community members, parent representatives, and educator day home representatives who support our strategic planning process and set the direction for our Society.
