At M. Berrigan Land Surveying Limited, we are a locally owned and operated Land Surveying company with offices in Antigonish and Port Hawkesbury, serving Northeastern Nova Scotia and Cape Breton. We employ two Nova Scotia Land Surveyors, a Professional Engineer, and field staff who work together to deliver projects on-time and on-budget. - Retracement Plans: Determination and posting of property boundaries using legal survey evidence, required for new home construction, building fences and retaining walls along property lines, landscaping, and solving boundary disputes.
- Topographic Surveys: Show the physical features and elevations within a site, used by architects, engineers, and planners for their design purposes, required for new home construction and house renovations and additions.
- Subdivision Plans: Divide a property into two or more new lots and set the boundaries, required for property development and municipal approval.
- Construction: Excavation layouts, foundation and form surveys, and other construction-related services.
- Mortgage Certificates: Building location certificates required by municipalities and financial institutions during the process of purchasing or building a home.
- Monitoring: Using precise leveling and scanning tools to monitor infrastructure for lateral or vertical movements, providing valuable data for geotechnical engineers to evaluate infrastructure stability.
- Lease Surveys: Prepared to agree with the legal lease agreement between the lessor and lessee.
- Easement/Right of Way: Easement and right of way plans used to show various rights of ownership over another party's land, typically used for access to property and utilities.
