A History of Girls Hockey in the City of Toronto
The Swansea Girls Hockey League (SGHL) boasts a rich history, empowering young female athletes for over 50 years. Founded in 1970, the SGHL recognized the need for a dedicated league where girls could learn, develop, and foster their passion for hockey. Now the oldest and largest outdoor girls hockey league in Toronto, the SGHL has nurtured countless skilled players and fostered a strong sense of community.
Empowering Young Athletes
The SGHL offers a welcoming environment for girls ages 7 to 18, providing them with the opportunity to:
