At Icarus Aviation, we are a team of multi-discipline aviation engineers with over 30 years of extensive experience in the aviation and aerospace industry. Our passion for aircraft and design drives us to support challenging missions in aviation and aerospace. We specialize in supporting those missions that no one else can; assisting in developing products for search and rescue operations, medical operations, or mission-related, for those who live aviation.

Our Story

In Greek Mythology, Icarus is the son of master craftsman Daedalus, the creator of the Labyrinth. In an attempt to escape from Crete, Icarus creates wings made from wax and feathers. Despite warnings from his father, Icarus flies too close to the sun which causes his wings to melt and for Icarus to fall into the sea. The name ICARUS was adopted from this lesson as a reminder of the ultimate responsibilities that we uphold as aviation engineers. It is a privilege not to be forgotten.

Our Services

We offer a range of aviation engineering and design services, including SSTC / RDA / PDA approvals, development and certification of unique aircraft products, modifications or installations, aircraft damage assessments, CAD design and 3D solid modeling, structural analysis, and certification. Our team of experienced engineers can develop repair designs or modifications for both fixed and rotary wing aircraft of all types and sizes with the support of Transport Canada delegated Engineers. No challenge is too big or too small.
