As a dedicated professional, Gregory Oakes, LLB, is deeply rooted in the community where he was raised. After graduating from Centre Wellington District High School, he pursued higher education at the University of Waterloo and the University of Western Ontario, ultimately obtaining his law degree. Since being called to the bar, Greg has operated his law office in Centre Wellington, working diligently to serve the community he loves.

Greg is not only a well-respected lawyer but also an active community member, having served in the 11th Field Regiment in Guelph and as the local Veteran's service officer for the Royal Canadian Legion. He has also contributed to various local organizations such as the Wellington County Historical Society, Elora Festival, Rare Breeds Canada, and the American Bashkir Curly Registry. His dedication has been recognized with numerous awards, including the Queen's Gold Jubilee Medal, the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Medal, the Canadian Decoration (CD2), and a Medal of Meritorious Service from the Royal Canadian Legion.
