Communication and Waiting Period
Many customers have expressed frustration with the communication and waiting period for repair services. Bill Fearon's experience with a 2-month waiting period for a 1-year-old speed oven repair is a prime example. Other customers, such as Vanessa Van Tassel, have faced lengthy waiting periods for repair, with her wait time extending to 2-3 weeks despite being told it would only take a week.
Quality of Service
Several customers have questioned the quality of service provided by Public Electric. Binita Raval's experience with a technician who quoted a high price for a part and then charged extra for a diagnosis is concerning. Mat Godin's review highlights the company's policy of requiring technicians to enter homes without guarantee of fixing the issue, which can result in continuous service calls and wasted time and money.
Customer Service
Jackie Hatto's review stands out as a positive exception, with excellent customer service and a technician who called ahead to confirm the appointment and arrived on time. However, other customers have had poor experiences with customer service, such as David Maiden, who felt that the technician did not attempt to troubleshoot the problem with his fridge.
Part Pricing and Availability
Vince Clavet's experience with a part being on warranty but still being charged for it is concerning. Jjsc Radioman's review highlights the delay in receiving a part, with the company blaming GE's fulfillment delays, despite the customer being able to obtain the part from a different supplier.
