Our History

Koomans Demolition was founded in 1961 by Dirk Koomans, and since then, the business has been passed down to his sons, John and Dick Koomans. Over the years, we have evolved to provide a comprehensive range of services, including excavating, demolition, fence rentals, cement removal, and recycling of materials. Our team takes pride in our ability to demolish barns, silos, houses, churches, grain mills, industrial and commercial buildings, and clean up rubble, recycling many of the reusable building materials.

Our Salvage Yard

Our salvage yard is open to the public, Monday to Friday, and is stocked with a wide variety of new and used materials, including new steel, crushed cement, gravel, reclaimed brick, lighting and hardware, doors and windows, and used lumber. All items are sold at a reasonable price, and we accept cash and debit transactions for purchases at the yard.
