At Moving Forward Counselling, our mission is to provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space for individuals to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Our team, led by Registered Psychotherapist Sarah Krauss, is dedicated to helping clients overcome a range of life issues, including addictions, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and general problems. We specialize in client-centered and body-based approaches, which are founded on the latest scientific research in brain imaging and neuroscience.

Our Approach

Our client-centered approach is built on the principles of empathy, honesty, and respect for the individual's unique experiences and perspectives. We believe that every person has the capacity to heal and grow, and our role is to provide a supportive and guiding presence throughout the therapeutic journey. Our approach is informed by the latest research in psychotherapy, and we draw on various therapeutic models, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Gestalt, Feldenkrais, Internal Family Systems, and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy.

About Sarah Krauss

Sarah Krauss is a Registered Psychotherapist with a Master's in Counselling Psychology and advanced training in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy. She is a kind and compassionate counsellor with a strong foundation in supportive deep listening and mindfulness awareness of the body. Sarah is dedicated to helping individuals feel restored, free, and capable of creating the life and relationships they desire. She abides by the Standards of Practice and Ethical Guidelines of the Ontatio College of Psychotherapists and is a Professional Member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association.
