Meet Our Team

Our team is led by Dr. Derek Okamura, a dedicated and meticulous dentist with over 25 years of experience. Born and raised in Manitoba, Dr. Okamura graduated from the University of Manitoba in 1994 and was honoured with the medal for oral pathology. He has undergone extensive training with the Pankey Institute, The Seattle Institute with Dr. Frank Spears, Occlusion Connections with Dr. Clayton Chan, and the Las Vegas Institute for Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Okamura's areas of focus include TMJ, chronic pain and bite reconstruction, orthodontics, and myofunctional therapy. He is passionate about dentistry and committed to providing the best possible service and care to his patients.

We're also proud to have Dr. Ivana Gojic as part of our team. Dr. Gojic graduated from the University of Belgrade, Serbia and received her Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) degree in 2006. She moved to Vancouver in 2010 and after completing the Canadian equivalency process, became a registered dentist in BC. Dr. Gojic is a member of the College of Dental Surgeons of BC, BC Dental Association, and Canadian Dental Association. She is passionate about dentistry, focused on providing gentle dental care to restore function and beautiful smiles.
