Unprofessional Service
Many reviewers have expressed disappointment with Active Security's performance. Latoya Songz and Todd Coward both gave 1-star reviews, citing unprofessional and unprepared security guards. Latoya mentioned that the guards didn't have vests, metal detectors, or equipment, and Todd described them as "minimum wage, minimum effort workers." Jinee Lee also gave 1-star, citing a lack of professionalism, as the guards were found smoking, taking personal calls, and leaving their posts without informing anyone.
Lack of Training
Some reviewers have questioned the level of training provided to the security guards. Latoya mentioned that the guards didn't know what to do and had to be constantly reminded, while Andrew described them as "confused on what they were supposed to do." This lack of training has led to unprofessional behavior, as guards were found chatting on their phones, using their break times to surf the internet, and not responding to emergencies in a responsible manner.
Long-standing Issues
Andrew mentioned that he had to supply hand-held metal detectors because the company didn't have any, and Harman Sandhu described the security guard as "unprofessional, uneducated" and struggling with communication skills. These long-standing issues have led to mistrust and disappointment among clients.
