Our Story

At King Street Dental, we pride ourselves on being a family practice that has been serving the Durham Region for over 20 years. Our practice was founded by Dr. Jordon Lazare, who is dedicated to providing his patients with the highest standard of care possible. Our team of dental professionals is committed to creating a welcoming atmosphere where patients feel comfortable and at ease.

Our Team

Our team of dental professionals is led by Dr. Jordon Lazare, who graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at McGill University in 1992. With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Lazare has a passion for esthetic, restorative, and general dentistry. He is a member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, the Ontario Dental Association, and the Canadian Dental Association. Dr. Lazare is committed to staying up-to-date with the latest dental innovations and has attended numerous continuing education courses.

In addition to Dr. Lazare, our team includes Dr. Ryan Schure, a specialist in periodontics and implant surgery. Dr. Schure earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Toronto and has completed his Master of Science degree with advanced training in periodontology and implant surgery. He is an Examiner in Periodontics for the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and a Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.

We are also proud to have Susan, our Registered Dental Hygienist and Office Manager, who has been with our practice since its inception. Susan is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and takes the time needed to make sure her patients are comfortable and well-informed regarding their teeth and gums. She was the recipient of the Golden Scaler Award while in dental hygiene school and continues to be praised by patients for being both gentle and extremely thorough.
