Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral therapy is a gentle, non-invasive technique that addresses dysfunctions in the nervous system from the head and mouth to the tailbone. This therapy is safe for all ages, from newborn to the elderly, and can be used to treat a range of conditions, including migraines, sinus problems, scoliosis, tinnitus, and chronic ear infections. Craniosacral therapy has been proven to reduce stress, pain, emotional and physical trauma, and disease, and can be used in conjunction with other therapies to enhance overall health and wellbeing.

Brain Injury/Concussion Therapy

Our Brain Injury/Concussion therapy has been specifically designed to address the unique needs of individuals who have suffered a brain injury or concussion. We use advanced techniques taught at the Upledger Institute and the Chickley Health Institute to promote healing and recovery, and to help individuals get back to where they were before the trauma. Our therapy is gentle, non-invasive, and can be used in conjunction with other modalities, such as physiotherapy, chiropractic, and vestibular clinic, to enhance overall recovery.

Visceral Manipulation

Visceral manipulation is a technique that addresses the needs of the organs, rather than just the muscles, fascia, and nerves. This therapy is designed to promote overall health and wellbeing by releasing restrictions in the fascia and scar tissue, and by promoting balance and harmony in the body.

Pediatrics

We are passionate about working with children, and have developed a range of therapies that are specifically designed to meet their unique needs. Our pediatric therapies are gentle, non-invasive, and can be used to treat a range of conditions, including birth difficulties, migraines, and oedema.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage

Manual lymphatic drainage is a technique that is used to reduce congestion of lymph or swelling around an injured limb, inflammation, or pre-/post-surgical areas. This therapy is gentle, non-invasive, and can be used to promote overall health and wellbeing.

About Terry Lunney

Terry Lunney, owner and therapist at Advanced Massage and Associated Therapies Ltd, is an osteopathically trained Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) with over 30 years of experience. Terry has a diverse and interesting client base, and has worked with clients of all ages, from newborn to 104 years old. Terry is dedicated to ongoing education and training, and has taken advanced classes in craniosacral therapy, visceral manipulation, and manual lymphatic drainage.
