Welcome to the practice of Dr. Lora Cruise, a family medicine clinic located in the heart of Revelstoke, British Columbia. Our team is dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care to our patients and their families.
Dr. Cruise moved with her family to Revelstoke to be closer to the mountains and all they have to offer. She completed her medical degree at McMaster Medical School and her family practice residency at the University of Ottawa. With over 18 years of experience in a variety of urban, academic, and rural settings, Dr. Cruise is committed to building long-lasting relationships with her patients and delivering personalized care.
In addition to her medical work, Dr. Cruise has held multiple leadership and academic roles. She has a special interest in child and adult mental health, addiction, and substance use. She is pleased to offer consultations and follow-up care for mental health and addiction for both adults and youth. At this time, she is accepting new patient referrals from other health care providers only.
Hours & Information
Our clinic hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. We are closed from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm for lunch and on Fridays, weekends, and statutory holidays. If you are in need of after-hours medical attention, please call the office and leave a detailed voicemail with your contact details. The doctor will get back to you as soon as possible.
Please bring your Provincial Health Card to each appointment. If you are experiencing cold, flu, or COVID-19 symptoms, book a phone appointment by calling 250-837-7997. For non-COVID-19 related appointments, please contact us to schedule.
Service Information
At this time, Dr. Cruise's practice is closed to new patients with the exception of mental health and addiction referrals. For returning patients, we offer 15-minute appointments for routine check-ups, prescription renewals, and other medical concerns. If you require a longer appointment or have a form for Dr. Cruise to complete, please contact us to make arrangements.
We are committed to the health and safety of our patients and staff. If you are experiencing any respiratory symptoms, such as cough, fever, or difficulty breathing, please let us know before your appointment so we can take necessary precautions.
