Our Team

RB Engineering Ltd. was founded by Les Brown, a local Nanaimo resident with over thirty years of experience in electrical design and project management. Les has spent his career honing his skills and building a robust professional network within the electrical industry. He is known for his practical engineering solutions and personalized service, making him a trusted and respected figure in the field. Les enjoys spending his free time at his Mudge Island "cabin" with his wife Barb and their dog Lizzie.

Arlen, a Vancouver Island native, joined RB Engineering Ltd. in 2006 after completing his schooling in electrical design. His dedication and hard work have propelled him from a junior designer to RB's lead building designer, and ultimately to a principal in the company in 2020. Arlen's passion for music is evident in his love for attending concerts and recording local artists in his personal basement studio.

Craig, originally from Calgary, joined RB Engineering Ltd. in 2013 after completing a challenging Engineering Physics program at the University of British Columbia, with a focus on electrical engineering. He has since built a fulfilling life in Nanaimo, where he now resides in a three-generation house with his young family. Craig's hobbies include cooking, strategy games, and creating the perfect Christmas experience each December.
