Services
Comprehensive Eye Exams
Our thorough eye exams assess visual acuity and ocular health while screening for systemic conditions like diabetes and hypertension. Using advanced diagnostic tools, we provide personalized prescriptions for glasses or contact lenses. The exam includes retinal imaging and intraocular pressure testing to detect early signs of glaucoma and macular degeneration.
Contact Lens Fittings
We offer specialized contact lens evaluations to ensure optimal fit and comfort. The process includes trial lenses and follow-up assessments to verify visual clarity and corneal health. Our optometrist recommends lens materials and replacement schedules tailored to individual lifestyle needs and ocular conditions.
Medical Eye Exams
These exams address urgent vision concerns like redness, pain, or sudden vision changes. Covered by Alberta Health Services, they include detailed assessments for infections, injuries, and chronic conditions. We utilize optical coherence tomography for high-resolution imaging of retinal structures.
Refractive Surgery Referrals
We provide pre-operative consultations and post-operative care for LASIK, PRK, and refractive lens exchange procedures. Our evaluations determine candidacy based on corneal thickness and visual requirements. We coordinate care with surgical specialists to ensure optimal outcomes.
Occupational Vision Testing
Specialized assessments meet occupational requirements for commercial drivers and safety-sensitive positions. Testing includes visual acuity, peripheral vision, and color perception evaluations. We provide documentation for licensing and workplace compliance purposes.
