Our dental practice is dedicated to providing excellent dental care, with a focus on your smile. Led by Dr. Elizabeth Munteanu, a certified member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario since 1988, our team is committed to staying at the forefront of dental technology and treatments. Dr. Munteanu is not only a certified Perio-Protect provider, but also a certified Pinhole Surgery Provider and a V.I.S.T.A. Perio Surgery Provider.
Joining Dr. Munteanu is Dr. Alina Zilberman, who became a certified member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario in 2018 and joined our practice in September 2020. Our dental hygienist, D.H. Ana-Maria Dumitrascu, joined our practice in October 2021.
In addition to our dental professionals, our team includes Ms. Laura Manolache at the front desk, Mrs. Mihaela Boicu as our receptionist, Ms. Angela Radu as a dental assistant, and Ms. Christina Narcisa Balaban as another dental assistant.
Services
At our dental office, we offer a wide range of services to meet the needs of our patients. These services include:
- Prophylactic procedures: We offer scaling, polishing, fluoridation, night guards for bruxism, and mouth guards for sports.
- Restorative procedures: Our restorative procedures include mercury-free restorations, full porcelain and porcelain fused to semi-noble and noble alloy crowns and bridges.
- Dentures: We provide dentures to replace missing teeth.
- Snoring appliances: We offer appliances to help alleviate snoring.
- Orthodontic treatments: We offer orthodontic treatments with Invisalign-like transparent appliances, removable appliances, and braces for children and adults.
- Implants: We offer implants, including implants for full dentures stabilization.
- Extractions: We perform extractions, with or without ridge architecture preservation (grafting with L-PRF membranes).
- Cosmetic procedures: We offer cosmetic procedures such as porcelain or resin-bonded veneers.
- Laser assisted periodontal surgery: We offer laser assisted periodontal surgery for the treatment of gum disease.
- Pinhole and V.I.S.T.A. Root Coverage Surgery: We offer these minimally invasive procedures for gum recession.
- Microscope assisted root canal therapy: We use a dental microscope to assist with root canal therapy.
- Laser assisted analgesia: We offer laser assisted analgesia, which may allow us to perform certain procedures without the need for anesthesia with injection.
Technology
Our office is equipped with modern dental units, digital radio-graphs, WaterLase iPlus hard and soft tissue laser, Diode soft tissue laser, Intra-oral cameras, a dental microscope, and L-PRF membranes for grafting. These technologies allow us to provide efficient and effective dental care.
