Our Story
Temiskaming Veterinary Services was founded by Dr. Connie Dancho in 1988 as a large animal practice. Our present location was established in 1998, at which time we expanded our services to include companion animal care. Over the years, our clinic has continued to evolve to meet the needs of our furry friends. This included a major expansion of the clinic building in 2014. Today, our clinic employs 24 talented individuals who share a passion for animal care.
Our Services
At Temiskaming Veterinary Services, we are pleased to offer a wide range of services to both small animal and farm animal patients. Our services include annual health and wellness exams, in-house diagnostics, X-rays and ultrasound, dentistry, surgery, grooming, and herd health exams. We also provide emergency services for those unexpected situations that may arise. Our team is dedicated to providing quality care with compassion and respect for our clients and their beloved pets.
Our Facility
Our clinic is well-equipped with four exam rooms, a large treatment area, one surgical suite, radiology room, in-house diagnostics lab, an ICU, dog ward, cat ward, and isolation unit. We have invested in the latest technology, including a new digital X-ray unit installed in 2021, and a portable ultrasound unit for performing brief ultrasound scans in emergency settings.
