Our Story

At George Rudderham Well Drilling, we take pride in being a Cape Breton owned and operated business since 1943. Our journey began with Richard Rudderham, a part-time farmer who recognized the need for local farms to have reliable access to groundwater for irrigation. With his knowledge and expertise, he founded the company that would later become George Rudderham Well Drilling. Over the years, our family-owned business has evolved, and we have expanded our services to provide top-notch well drilling, water treatment, and water testing solutions to the people of Cape Breton.
