Our History
Our story begins with Lawrence "Pete" Guidi, who immigrated to Canada from Italy at the age of three. After opening a meat shop in downtown Vernon with a partner, Pete eventually purchased the property at the corner of Pleasant Valley Road and Silver Star Road, where our current location stands today. Over the years, Pete's vision for a grocery store and meat shop combination came to life, and his son Paul and wife Laura have continued to expand and thrive. Today, we're proud to be a dynamic community citizen, cherishing our strong reputation as Vernon's neighbourhood grocery store.
