S.R. ProActive Health & Physiotherapy is a reputable physiotherapy clinic located in Stellarton, Pictou County. We opened our doors in January 2013 with the primary objective of providing quality one-on-one care to our clients in the comfort of their homes and in our clinic. Our clinic is wheelchair accessible, and we offer ample parking spaces right at the door. We take pride in our professional and relaxed environment, where individualized assessment and treatment are provided in private rooms to ensure privacy and focus.

• Physiotherapy: Our physiotherapists provide comprehensive assessments, treatments, and rehabilitation plans for various conditions, including muscle and joint problems, post-operative care, and chronic pain management.
• Laser Therapy: We use the Bioflex System to offer Low-Intensity Laser Therapy (LLLT), a non-invasive treatment that uses specific wavelengths of light to stimulate cell activity and accelerate healing. LLLT can be used to treat various conditions, including plantar fasciitis, rotator cuff conditions, tennis elbow, muscle/ligament injuries, and degenerative conditions such as knee and spinal osteoarthritis.
• Community Physiotherapy: S.R. ProActive Health & Physiotherapy can provide physiotherapy services in the community, including your home and work environments. This service is tailored to better meet your needs and schedule.
• Specialized Services: Our therapists have specialized training in the Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment of the Spine (McKenzie Institute), vestibular rehabilitation, chronic pain management, acupuncture, custom knee brace fitting, TMJ and facial pain, Concussion management, pediatric courses, osteoporosis, cancer rehabilitation, pre- and post-pregnancy related concerns, ROST method for SIJ dysfunction.

Our team at S.R. ProActive Health & Physiotherapy includes experienced and licensed physiotherapists dedicated to providing quality one-on-one care. Our co-owners and physiotherapists, Stephen and Stephanie Roop, have extensive experience working in various settings in different provinces. They have done numerous post-graduate studies and are proficient in various treatment techniques, including muscle and joint problems, post-operative care, and self-management techniques.
