Our Story
In 1962, Marvin Britton founded Atlas Security Service with the vision of providing security to the people of Springfield and the surrounding regions. His desire was to provide quality security systems and monitoring services at a reasonable price. In 1963, the central monitoring station was established, further solidifying Atlas Security's commitment to providing top-notch security solutions. In the late 1980s, Marvin Britton turned over much of the control of the company to his son-in-law, Jim Wade. Jim Wade became the current owner/president of Atlas Security Service in 1992. In February 2006, Atlas Security Service moved into a new location, allowing us to better serve our customers and provide them with the peace of mind they deserve.
