Alforno Bakery & Cafe is a proud cornerstone of the vibrant culinary scene in Calgary, Alberta. Established in 1993, we have been serving the community with our freshly baked, hand-made pastries and bread, as well as our brunch, lunch, and dinner offerings. Our name, Alforno, is a nod to the heart of our baking program, and we strive to provide the highest level of distinctive and memorable dining experiences for our guests.
Our commitment to craft and technique is reflected in our sustainable coffee program, artisan wine, beer, and spirits selection from the Teatro cellars, and our daily offerings of bread, pastries, and grab-and-go food, which are all made from scratch. We take pride in being a part of the Teatro Group's baking program and serving our guests who wish to join us in person or take out.

Our flagship location in the heart of Eau Claire offers the full scope of bread, pastry, coffee, dine-in, and take-away offerings, including artisan pizza. For guests in the downtown area, be sure to visit our First Street Market, Livingston & EAT locations for bread, pastries, coffee, and grab-and-go food offerings.

The reviews for Alforno are quite diverse. While some customers had excellent experiences, others had mixed feelings.
