Breaking Barriers, Opening Doors
A Journey of Support and Empowerment
The Kootenay Brain Injury Association (KBIA) emerged in 1999 as a beacon of hope for individuals affected by brain injury in the Kootenay Region. Founded on the personal experiences of survivors and their families, KBIA has evolved into a vital resource offering crucial support and guidance throughout the journey of recovery and adaptation.
Our Mission
