At Physio first, we are dedicated to providing exceptional physiotherapy services that cater to the unique needs of each individual. We understand that life can be unpredictable, and sometimes injuries or conditions can make it challenging to do the things you love. That's where we come in. Our team of certified physiotherapists is committed to helping you achieve your goals and live the healthiest life possible.
Our Services
We offer a wide range of services designed to address various muscle and joint conditions, including acute and chronic injuries, women's health, and vestibular (dizzy/balance) conditions. Our services are tailored to meet the specific needs of each patient, and our certified physiotherapists are university graduates with extensive training and expertise. From assessment to treatment, we provide comprehensive care that addresses the root cause of the issue.
Post-Operative Physiotherapy
We understand the importance of proper rehabilitation after surgery. That's why we offer post-operative physiotherapy services for patients who have undergone hip or knee replacements. Our team will work with you to develop a personalized recovery plan that addresses your specific needs and goals. Under the Manitoba Government's new program, patients who have undergone hip or knee replacements since January 1st, 2023, may be eligible for direct billing through Manitoba Health for up to six sessions.
Vestibular Rehabilitation
Vestibular rehabilitation is a specialized treatment approach designed to address balance disorders and vertigo. These conditions can be debilitating and impact every aspect of daily life. Our certified physiotherapists are trained to identify the root cause of the disorder and develop a customized treatment plan that addresses the specific needs of each patient. Treatment may include repositioning techniques, compensatory exercises, and adaptation exercises.
Pilates Classes
Pilates is a low-impact form of exercise that can benefit individuals of all ages and fitness levels. Our Pilates classes are designed to improve flexibility, strength, coordination, and body awareness while restoring the natural curves of the spine. Whether you're looking to prevent or recover from an injury, our Pilates classes can help you achieve your goals.
