Our History

Gibb Widdis CPAs Professional Corporation was originally established as a partnership between Colleen Gibb and Geoffrey Widdis in 1995. We started with a small office on Golf Links Road in Ancaster and expanded to add a new office in Brantford a year later. Over the years, we have grown to include several Chartered Accountants, a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario, a Certified General Accountant, a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Fraud Examiner, and many other talented professionals.

Unfortunately, Geoffrey passed away at the age of 41, and Colleen Gibb now leads the team. As our team has grown, so have our office requirements. In 2008, we moved to our current location at 1425 Cormorant Road in Ancaster's Business Park.

Our Team

Our team of experienced professionals is knowledgeable in the latest accounting standards and pronouncements. We are prepared to assist our clients with the new International Financial Reporting Standards, which take effect on January 1, 2011. We can also help our clients select and implement accounting software that meets their needs and provide remote assistance with accounting problems.
