Situated in the heart of Echo Bay, ON, Algo Machine Shop has been a trusted name in the industry for over 50 years. Our machine shop, which is visible from Four Lanes Highway, is open from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and we offer special appointments upon request. As a family-owned and operated business, we take great pride in providing our clients with specialized machine shop services, including rebuilds, manufacturing, welding, and mechanical part repairs.

• Manufacturing Contracts: We work with clients throughout Canada and the USA to fulfill their manufacturing needs. Our team of experts is dedicated to ensuring quality work and customer satisfaction.
• Lapping & Cylinder Honing: Our lapping and cylinder honing services are designed to improve the surface finish and accuracy of cylinders and other components. This process involves the use of abrasive particles to remove material and create a smooth, flat surface.
• Punch Press Rebuilding: Our team of experts can rebuild and refurbish punch presses to ensure they are in excellent working condition. Whether you need a minor repair or a complete overhaul, we can help.
• Tool & Die Manufacturing & Refurbishing: We specialize in manufacturing and refurbishing tool and die components made from all tool materials, including carbide. Our team of experts can create custom tools and dies to meet the unique needs of our clients.
• Welding (Arc, MIG & TIG): Our experienced welders are trained in various welding techniques, including arc, MIG, and TIG welding. We can weld a wide range of materials, including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
• Blank Stamping Components: We can manufacture and refurbish blank stamping components to meet the unique needs of our clients. Our team of experts has the knowledge and expertise to create high-quality components that meet or exceed industry standards.
• Capable Gearing-Spur & Helical: Our gearing services include the manufacture and refurbishment of spur and helical gears. We can create custom gears to meet the unique needs of our clients.
• CNC Machining: Our CNC machining services are designed to provide high-precision, cost-effective solutions for our clients. We can create complex components with tight tolerances and excellent surface finishes.
• Heat Treatments: Our heat treatment services are designed to improve the mechanical properties of materials. We offer a range of heat treatment processes, including annealing, hardening, and tempering.
• Guide Rollers: We manufacture high-quality, steel guide rollers that can improve conveyor systems. Our rollers are more durable than products made from alternative materials such as rubber, UHMW, nylons, plastic, and polyurethane. We currently offer three types of guide rollers with dust covers and grease fittings: flat guide rollers, half-round guide rollers, and guide rollers with an under-cut portion to receive the leading edge of the belt.
