Our Team

At the helm of our team is Dr. Christopher Becir, a highly-regarded dentist with a reputation for being kind, gentle, and thoroughly professional. A native of Nanaimo, Dr. Becir holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of British Columbia and a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Western Ontario. He has earned an excellent reputation among his patients for his ability to put even the most nervous patients at ease.

Sedation Dentistry

Comprehensive Hygiene Program

At Arbor Dental Centre, we believe in the importance of regular hygiene appointments to reduce the build-up of plaque and tartar on your teeth. Our highly trained hygienists will create a tailored program tailored to your specific needs, which may include digital radiography, gum tissue evaluation, scaling, root planing, polish, fluoride application, oral cancer screening, and instructions on brushing and flossing techniques.

Periodontics (Gum Health)

Our periodontics services focus on evaluating the health of your gums and preventing against gingivitis and the later stage of gingivitis called periodontitis. We offer full mouth debridement, a deeper cleaning that goes beyond the gum line, and root planing, which removes built-up tartar, plaque, and bacteria from around the roots of your teeth and from the source of the inflammation.

Emergency Services

In the event of a dental emergency, we are here to help. Examples of emergencies that require treatment include facial injury resulting in a broken or lost tooth, severe pain that cannot be controlled with over-the-counter pain medication, uncontrolled oral bleeding, and rapidly progressing swelling that may impinge on the airway.
