Our Story
Compass Advertising was founded by James Huber, who spent 18 years honing his skills with trader publications across the province. Inspired by a free publication he discovered in British Columbia, James envisioned a similar platform where businesses could advertise from. This idea evolved into a business plan, and with his passion for advertising, he launched Compass Advertising in March 2008. The agency began with one publication - Compass Magazine, which has since become a huge success with over 600 distribution points across Saskatchewan, reaching some 160,000 readers. We have since expanded our publications to include Homes & Properties Magazine, AIR Guide, and Pocket Compass, catering to diverse audiences and providing targeted advertising opportunities.
