Our Story

Founded by Mr. R. Kenneth in 1895, Edmonton Tent and Mattress Co. Ltd. was the largest manufacturer of tents, boat and wagon covers, pillows, and mattresses west of Winnipeg. As Edmonton grew into a thriving modern city, our company kept pace with the times, adapting to the changing needs of our customers. In 2000, we changed our name to Edmonton Tent & Awning 2000 Inc. and continued to provide the same award-winning products and services that our customers have come to expect.

Our Team

Our team is comprised of experts with over 36 years of combined experience in the awning industry. Our president, Vern, is dedicated to ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service and quality products. Our operations manager, James, oversees our graphics department, while our sales and design expert, Wade, works closely with clients to bring their unique visions to life. Our awning installation and fabrication crew, as well as our sewing department, have over 36 years of combined experience in awning and industrial product fabrication.
