At Stanhope Cottages, we are proud to offer a unique vacation experience in the beautiful province of Prince Edward Island, Canada. Our family-run business is committed to providing our guests with a warm welcome, luxurious accommodations, and a range of activities to suit all interests.
Our Cottages
We have two 4-star, 3-bedroom luxury cottages and nine 3-star cottages ranging from 1 to 4 bedrooms. Each cottage is equipped with all the amenities you need to feel at home, including high-speed Wi-Fi, fully equipped kitchens, air conditioning, propane BBQ grills, and flat-screen LED TVs. Our cottages are situated just outside the entrance to the National Park, providing guests with a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere while still being within easy reach of the stunning beaches and picturesque villages of Prince Edward Island.

Our location is ideal for exploring the best of PEI. From our doorstep, you can enjoy activities such as beachcombing, golfing, deep-sea fishing, windsurfing, cycling, birdwatching, kayaking, and drive-in movies. Dining options are also plentiful, with a range of restaurants and cafes serving up fresh seafood and local specialties.
Our Story
Meet the owners, Jenny and Luke, who relocated to Prince Edward Island from China to pursue a better life for their family. With a passion for tourism, they decided to open Stanhope Cottages in 2011, and have since provided countless families with a memorable vacation experience. They look forward to welcoming you to their cottages and ensuring that your stay is both enjoyable and unforgettable.
Check-in/Check-out
Check-in time is between 4:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., and check-out time is 10:00 a.m. A piece of government-issued ID is required for check-in.
Payment and Cancellation
The full payment is due upon arrival. Visa, MasterCard, Debit, and Cash/E-Transfer are acceptable. All prices are subject to a 15% Harmonized Sales Tax (HST). A 5-night minimum stay is required. Please note that late cancellations will incur an administration fee, and failure to arrive without notice will result in the full cost of the stay.
Additional Fees
Stanhope Cottages reserves the right to charge additional fees for items such as late check-out, key replacement, and damage to cottage property.
Discretionary Services
We offer a range of discretionary services, including extra cleaning, pet care, and concierge services, which can be arranged upon request.
Pets
Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate pets in our cottages due to our efforts to maintain a clean and pet-free environment.
Smoking
All of our cottages are smoke-free, including cannabis and vaping. Smoking is permitted on the grounds, outside of the cottages, but ashtrays are provided on the deck. Please help keep the grounds clean.
Quiet Enjoyment
Guests are required to respect quiet hours beginning at 10:00 p.m. nightly, and absolutely no loud music and partying will be tolerated.
