At Raven Hair Studio, we are proud to be one of the longest-standing salons in Vernon, with over 50 years of history behind us. Established by Winn Maxwell, our original location was called Beauty Haven and was situated in the Fuhr building. The studio has been owned and operated by various individuals over the years, including Yvonne and Helen Piderbeskie, and June Valchoria. In 1975, Carol Roney took over as the new owner and relocated the studio downstairs, adding pull curtains to the stations to provide added privacy for our clients.
As the studio evolved, we continued to grow and adapt to the changing needs of our clients. In 2018, Chelsey took over as the new owner and renamed the studio Raven Hair Studio, inspired by the beauty, intelligence, and community spirit of the raven. With a focus on providing exceptional service and exceptional haircuts, our team has worked tirelessly to earn our reputation as one of the friendliest salons in town.
