Our History
Originally established as a family-owned and operated business with roots in the community dating back to 1910, T-Rex Excavating Ltd. has grown into a large-scale excavating and demolition operation with strong ties to the community and an excellent reputation. We are proud members of the community, involved with many community projects and charities, and we also support local youth athletics. Our focus is always on customer relations, and we are proud of the relationships we have built in our community.
Sustainability
We are committed to sustainability and have diverted over 4.5 million metric tons of demolition refuse from our landfill through our recycling program. This figure does not include the millions of cubic meters of recycled concrete foundations that we have crushed and reused as structural ground coverage, donating it back to our developer for use on-site. Our environmental professionals are available to work at any excavation site, and we will also work with any environmental company hired by our client.

Safety is our top priority, and we comply with all WorkSafe BC regulations, tailoring our safety protocols to meet any employer directives. Our personnel are properly trained and outfitted with personal protection equipment, and we are qualified to meet or exceed all safety regulations and standards.
