Our History
Founded in 1902, Lambton Golf and Country Club has a rich and colourful history, hosting four Canadian Opens and a number of Canadian and international amateur competitions. The club is also home to 1904 Golf Olympic gold medallist George S. Lyon. Our history is deeply rooted in the community, and we are proud to acknowledge that the land on which we gather is in Adobigok, which means "Where the Alders Grow" in the Ojibwe Language.
