Golf Course Experience
The golf course at Erie Shores is considered to be nice, with beautiful fairways and greens, and reasonably priced golf. However, the sand traps are shallow and hard, and the parking lot is dusty and not paved.
Teaching Sessions and Restaurant
The teaching sessions with the pro have been criticized for poor communication, as he never calls back when you leave messages. The restaurant has also received negative feedback, including serving rotten lettuce on a sandwich and a terrible experience with cold and inedible sausages. The service staff have been described as overwhelmed, and there is a lack of customer service, particularly from the new manager.
Prices and Value
Some customers feel that the course is overpriced, with a significant difference in cost between 9 holes and 18 holes for seniors. However, others appreciate the good deal offered for a group event.
Customer Service
The staff at Erie Shores have been described as helpful and conscious of health and safety protocols. Employees have been lovely, with the exception of one gentleman who had a rude tone. The management has been criticized for not being present to address customer concerns, particularly during the opening weekend of the new restaurant.
