Our Story

Keith and Leah Bergen founded A Degree Above in 1998, drawing on Keith's extensive experience working with furnaces and sheet metal in Calgary. With no other employees, we guarantee a high-quality consistent job for every project we take on. Keith's almost 40 years of experience in the industry has given him unparalleled knowledge of Calgary's home comfort needs, allowing him to expertly guide our customers in selecting the best furnace and air conditioner for their homes. From estimating the job to installing the equipment and walking our customers through the finished installation, we take the time to get it right.

Furnaces

We install and service furnaces from top manufacturers, including Bryant. Our team is knowledgeable about the latest models and can help our customers choose the right furnace for their homes. We also provide maintenance services to ensure that our customers' furnaces are running efficiently and effectively.

Air Conditioners and Humidifiers

Air conditioning is becoming increasingly popular in Calgary, especially in homes with a lot of windows or south-facing orientation. We recommend the Bryant Model 123 ANA, a 13 Seer unit with a hail guard, ideal for Calgary's harsh weather conditions. We also offer a range of higher-end units for customers who require ultra-quiet operation. In addition to air conditioners, we install and service humidifiers, including flow-through and steam humidifiers, as well as condensate pumps for efficient water management.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance is essential to ensure that our customers' furnaces, air conditioners, and humidifiers are running efficiently and effectively. We offer maintenance services tailored to the specific needs of each system, including standard, mid-efficient, and high-efficient furnaces.
