With over 35 years of experience in electronics and customer service, owner and operator Doug Berry has dedicated 15 years to the security industry, establishing himself as a Certified Electronic Technician by the Province of Ontario. Together with his son Matt Berry, First Line Security operates as a family-run business, offering top-of-the-line products and expert local services that are unmatched by large security groups.

Our services include 24-hour monitoring of alarm systems by a ULC listed monitoring station. Douglas Berry, the founder and owner of First Line Security, has resided in the Walkerton area his entire life. After completing his education at Walkerton District Secondary School and successfully obtaining his electronic technician degree, he established his own repair business. Doug has three children: Jason, who lives with his wife Suzanne and daughter Adrianne in Vancouver, Matt and his wife April along with their children Cali and Levi in Walkerton, and daughter April who resides and works in London. Doug's wife, Marlene, manages the office and takes care of the bookkeeping.
