For over 30 years, the Leduc Kanata Gymnastics Club has been dedicated to providing a nurturing environment for children to learn, grow, and develop their gymnastics skills. Our non-profit organization is run by a volunteer board and is committed to offering a wide range of gymnastics classes for children of all ages, from one year old to provincial level competitive athletes.

Our Mission

At Kanata, we believe that gymnastics is a sport that should be accessible and enjoyable for everyone. We strive to create a family-friendly atmosphere where gymnasts can develop both physically and personally in a safe and fun setting. Our goal is to provide the best gymnastics experience possible for each individual, and we are committed to ensuring that our coaches and facilities meet the highest standards.

Our Services

We offer a variety of gymnastics programs for children of all ages and skill levels. Our preschool program is designed for children as young as one year old, and introduces them to basic gymnastics skills such as rolling, jumping, and balancing. Our recreational programs are designed for children from one to eight years old, and focus on developing fundamental gymnastics skills such as forward rolls, backward rolls, and handstands.

For older children, we offer competitive programs at the provincial level, where athletes can develop their skills and compete against other gymnasts. We also offer adult programs, which are designed for adults of all skill levels who want to learn and improve their gymnastics skills.

Our Coaches

Our coaches are dedicated and professional individuals who are certified through the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) and have taken their Respect in Sport course. We are committed to providing our coaches with ongoing training and support to ensure that they are equipped to teach the latest skills and techniques.

Our Facilities

Our facilities are state-of-the-art and designed to provide a safe and fun environment for gymnasts of all ages. Our gym is equipped with spring floors, uneven bars, balance beams, and vaulting tables, and we also offer drop-in programs and camps for gymnasts who want to try out gymnastics or improve their skills.
