Ipperwash Beach
Just a short 5-minute walk from our resort, Ipperwash Beach boasts some of the most beautiful white sand and stunning sunsets in the area. Whether you're looking to soak up the sun, take a dip in the clear waters of Lake Huron, or simply enjoy a leisurely stroll along the shoreline, Ipperwash Beach has something for everyone. Amenities
At The Carolinian, we offer a wide range of amenities to ensure that your stay is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. With hydro, water, and septic services available on all of our sites, as well as 30 amp hydro, public washrooms, a playground, laundry facilities, city water, an open pavilion, basketball, swimming in our in-ground heated pool, a beach, fishing, boating, horseshoes, and trail systems, there is no shortage of things to do and see. Our resort is family-friendly, and we welcome campfires for your enjoyment.
Seasonal Camping
We offer a variety of seasonal camping options for park model cottages bought through Townsend Recreation. Our serviced sites include standard, premium, and premium plus options, all of which are subject to HST. Adult day and overnight passes are also available, as well as free admission for children under 18 when accompanied by an adult. Unfortunately, we do not offer overnight camping for tents or non-park model trailers.
Rules & Information
At The Carolinian, we strive to provide a relaxed, quiet, and courteous atmosphere for all of our guests. Our policies are designed to ensure that everyone can enjoy their stay in a safe and comfortable environment. The resort, its officers, directors, managers, and employees are not liable for any loss, injury, or damage to any possessions or persons, and the use of the resort and its equipment and facilities is solely at your own risk. We reserve the right to ask any camper to leave the property for non-compliance with the rules and regulations, or for any other reasonable request to discontinue conduct or noise that is offensive or disruptive to the management or other campers.
Our policies include the following:
- Only one recreational unit is allowed per site.
- All trailers must be factory-manufactured units.
- Sites/trailers cannot be sublet (unless being used by members registered under the 'Family/Individual Camping Pass').
- Park Management must approve a trailer and its position before placement on the seasonal site.
- Campers are responsible for site clean-up when vacating a seasonal site.
