Does insurance cover windshield replacement?

This depends on how the damage occurs - whether it's from a flying rock or a collision. Windshield replacement is covered under comprehensive insurance, which is optional. A cracked windshield from an accident would be filed under a collision claim. How to replace a broken windshield?

Our technicians use quality tools and material to first remove your windshield and clean the bonding area. We also make sure to protect the surrounding components of your vehicle, such as the rearview mirror and side mirrors. We then apply primer and urethane and reinstall a new windshield.
