Giving you the tools to take control of your health and wellbeing
Laura Laylor's journey into massage therapy began as a patient. After suffering a whiplash injury from an auto accident 17 years ago, she sought the help of a registered massage therapist (RMT) and physiotherapist to manage her pain. The combined effort of these healthcare professionals not only released her from her pain but also nursed her back to good health. This transformative experience inspired Laura to pursue a career in massage therapy.
Laura is a graduate of the Canadian Therapeutic College, holding an Honors Diploma in Massage Therapy and Hydrotherapy. She specializes in treatment-based therapy, combining various modalities such as Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, Deep Tissue Therapy, Joint Mobilizations, and Acupressure to treat a wide range of conditions. Laura is experienced in Swedish massage, making her skilled in providing pain management for various stages of life, from pregnancy to palliative care. She is committed to expanding her knowledge and skills in utilizing her talents to support Oncology patients in managing their discomfort during and post-Cancer treatment, and contributing to their mental health and wellbeing. In her spare time, she supports and raises awareness and funding for World Vision.
