Our Mission
Our goal is to provide every student with the training, tools, and skills they need to be a safe and responsible driver for life. We strive to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that caters to the unique needs of each student. Our state-of-the-art online curriculum, offered through Trubicars, allows students to learn at their own pace and convenience, while our in-car instruction provides hands-on experience with a licensed instructor.
Our Services
We offer a comprehensive Beginner Driver Education course that exceeds the curriculum standards set by the Ministry of Transportation (MTO) for the Province of Ontario. Our course includes 10 hours of in-car instruction, 1:1 with a licensed instructor, and covers essential topics such as safe driving techniques, defensive and cooperative driving, collision avoidance, proper observation skills, time and space management, distractions, peer pressure, and alcohol and other impairments. Additionally, our course fee includes practice testing similar to the MTO, ensuring that our students are well-prepared for their road test.
Our Vehicles
We take our responsibility for student safety seriously. Our vehicles are safety-certified 4-door sedan cars, complete with dual braking systems and roof-mounted signage that clearly shows other drivers that this is a teaching vehicle. We believe that teaching new drivers should not have to be hard on your vehicle, and we strive to minimize wear and tear on our vehicles while maintaining a safe and comfortable learning environment.
Our Instructors
Our instructors are all provincially accredited and registered with the Ministry of Transportation. They are dedicated to providing an exceptional teaching environment for new and experienced drivers alike, and are always available to discuss a student's individual needs. Our owner, Jason Vanderbeek, is a certified driving instructor with over 25 years of experience behind the wheel as a driver. He is CPR and First Aid certified, and holds a B.A. in English from McMaster University in Hamilton.
