Pete's General Freight is a progressive, reliable, and reputable transportation company that has been serving customers since 2009. Our owner, Pete Sawatzky, continues to be the sole owner and primary dispatch, ensuring that our customers receive personalized attention and care. We have expanded from a small family business to a team of five tractors and five employees, while maintaining our commitment to quality, efficient communication, and caring personnel.

Our Services

At Pete's General Freight, we specialize in hauling Less than Truckload (LTL) and full truckloads. We have a diverse range of commodities we haul, including straw bales, construction supplies, machinery, steel, farm equipment, and even a town clock. We take pride in our ability to adapt to the unique needs of our customers, ensuring that their freight is transported quickly, safely, and efficiently.

Equipment

Our fleet includes state-of-the-art equipment, including step decks, 58" tridem, 48" tandem air-ride, and over-sized vehicles. We operate in both the United States and Canada, providing our customers with seamless transportation solutions across borders.

Our Story

Formerly known as Pete's Livestock, we underwent a name change in November 2011 to better reflect our expanded services. We have grown from a small family business to a reputable transportation company, and we continue to operate on a small scale to ensure greater quality, efficient communication, and caring personnel.
