At Richmond Music School, we are dedicated to fostering a love of music in our community. With a rich history dating back to 1980, we have established ourselves as a premier music education institution in Richmond, British Columbia. As a registered charity, our mission is to provide high-quality music lessons and programs to students of all ages and skill levels.

Our Services

We offer a wide range of music lessons and programs, including private lessons, group lessons, and adult lessons. Our experienced faculty provides expert instruction in various instruments, including piano, violin, flute, and more. Our music programs are designed to cater to different ages and interests, such as our Tiny Tots Piano Program, RMS KinderStrings Program, and Violin Outreach Program.

In addition to music lessons, we also offer music therapy sessions, chamber ensemble programs, and musical theatre programs. Our ABRSM Beginner Piano Program is a great way for beginners to get started with piano lessons. We also host concerts and activities throughout the year, providing our students with opportunities to perform and showcase their talents.

Our Partnership with ABRSM

We are proud to be the Canadian representative for the Associated Board of the Royal School of Music (ABRSM). This partnership allows us to offer ABRSM exams to our students, providing them with an internationally recognized credential. ABRSM exams are a great way for students to assess their musical abilities and earn secondary school external credits.
