College Of Naturopathic Doctors Of Alberta

At the College of Naturopathic Doctors of Alberta, we are dedicated to regulating the practice of naturopathic medicine in Alberta to ensure safe, ethical, and competent patient care. Our mission is to protect the public by governing the profession in accordance with the Health Professions Act. We achieve this by setting and maintaining high standards of practice, education, and competence for naturopathic doctors registered to practice in Alberta.

Our Services

We provide a range of services to the public and to our registrants. For the public, we offer a registry of licensed naturopathic doctors, as well as information on the regulatory process and standards of practice. We also investigate complaints about registrants who may not be meeting the requirements of the Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice. For our registrants, we provide continuing competence programs, jurisprudence exams, and certification processes to ensure that they maintain their skills and knowledge in their field.

We do this by setting and enforcing standards of practice, education, and competence for naturopathic doctors. We also provide oversight and guidance to our registrants to ensure that they are meeting the highest standards of patient care.
