Insulation Blankets and Related Products

At REFLEX Manufacturing, we take pride in the design and fabrication of our insulation blankets, which are primarily used to insulate areas that require regular access, movement, or complex shapes that preclude the use of hard insulation. Our blankets are commonly used for valves, flanges, instrumentation, and odd-shaped equipment, serving multiple purposes such as heat conservation, freeze protection, personnel protection, and process stabilization. Additionally, our insulation blankets can be used for noise control and limited cold service applications.

Our insulation blankets can be fabricated to accommodate operating temperatures from ambient to 1260o C (2300oF) using high-quality fabrics, insulation, and hardware. We can produce covers of various insulation thicknesses, with multi-layer designs and pre-formed for specialty items. Furthermore, our high-visibility insulation blankets are designed for ease of identification of critical equipment, such as pressure safety valves, control valves, and CSO valves.

Non-Insulated and Specialty Covers

In addition to our standard insulation blankets, we also fabricate non-insulated and specialty covers for various applications. These covers are designed for use in compressor fan screens, residential and commercial air conditioner screens, spare tire covers, fire extinguisher covers, insulated and non-insulated BBQ and smoker covers, custom food and drink insulation coolers, waterproof clipboards, and many more specialized uses. Our team works closely with customers to customize non-insulated and specialty covers that meet their specific needs.

Fireproofing Insulation Blankets

REFLEX Manufacturing is experienced in fabricating Removable Fire Proofing Insulation Blankets that meet customer specifications and design parameters. These blankets are designed for use on valves, control valve actuators, piping connections (flanges), and piping itself, providing critical protection against fires.

Commercial Insulation Solutions

Our insulation blankets are commonly used in commercial buildings such as hospitals, universities, office towers, schools, and recreation centers to insulate HVAC piping and equipment, including manual valves, control valves, steam traps, piping connections (flanges), heat exchangers, and couplings. We offer a wide range of cost-effective materials and can specify jacketing to match the color of adjacent hard insulation cladding, making our products a practical solution for commercial applications.

Tracer Wrap

Tracer Wrap is an economical solution for covering tracer loops and bundle tracing on both steam and glycol systems, as well as small bore piping and valves. Providing both heat retention and personal protection, Tracer Wrap can be fabricated in custom widths, lengths, and thicknesses. We carry a large stock of Tracer Wrap and can typically provide custom sizing within 1 hour.
